Our Background

Our founders started Broker Backoffice back in 2011 to help shape the direction of the management of agents and the day-to-day operations for those supporting the insurance industry. Scott, our Founder and CEO, also has more than 20 years of experience working with people looking to buy insurance as well as working with agents to learn how to thoughtfully and wisely provide insurance solutions to their clients. The concept of Quote Bot came about from the combination of all of these experiences. We live in a day of many voices, all with a different sales pitch or story regarding insurance, and we believe that confuses the consumer and keeps many from understanding, buying, or keeping the life insurance they need for their family or business. So Scott decided we needed to make a change and take his years of experience to empower the consumer to make informed decisions, customize the coverage they want, and buy life insurance when they are ready with the process taking only minutes versus weeks.

What We Do

We offer instant decision life insurance that allows consumers to quote, customize and buy life insurance without the need for an agent’s involvement. This process typically takes each customer approximately 10 minutes to complete. We are unique from our competitors for a few reasons:

1. We are truly focusing on an agent-less experience.
2. We deliver well-thought-out solutions that help a client understand their insurance needs and act on them instantly.
3. We deliver a simple, create-your-own-quote process that also allows you to buy when you’re ready and receive instant approval.

Why an Agent-less experience?

We certainly have nothing against agents. The experience and insight they can provide (at least the good ones) is invaluable. We just believe that with the search capability of the internet and the desire of consumers to find supporting truths or background information, this often is difficult to reference against a conversation with an agent (parts of it may not be but context is everything. Then there is sorting through the insurance products and features, what is best, why, and so on. We believe when you can see your rates, and see what features are available (and see the instate pricing update), the process is faster and you can be informed. You don’t have to wait around for another appointment to see your results, they are right there on the screen for you to see. And finally, the application. Our process brings you seamlessly into the application and allows you to verify the rate that was quoted (based on a quick pre-qualification) and then finish the application and receive an instant decision…yes, you can buy and finalize your coverage right then and there. The old agent process took another appointment to be scheduled to complete a paper application, then do medical exams, and then possibly wait weeks to learn if you were approved or not and at the rate you were shown.
